The speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Aminu Iya Abbas felicitates with the entire people of Adamawa State on the celebration of the year 2023.

Aminu Iya Abbas in a statement notes that the year 2023 comes with great hope and expections especially in the political Scene as it is a defining moment for the consolidation of democratic system in the country...

He urged people of the state to pray for a peaceful conduct of the elections as well as emergence of credible leaders at all levels.

Aminu Iya Abbas said although 2022 is not without its successes and challenges he believes that the year 2023 would be the year of economic prosperity, political emancipation and the overall development of the country.

The speaker also said as a legislature, the state assembly will continue to come up with sound legislations and resolutions that would be instrumental to the development of Adamawa State.
