Achievements
The Rt. Hon. Aminu lya Abbas Fresh Air legislative representation in the 7th assembly of the Adamawa
State House of Assembly as Hon. Speaker and member representing Uba/Gaya Constituency for the past
two years is remarkable not just to his constituents but to the entire Adamawa State citizenries.
This is evident in the number of 2019 general elections campaign promises fulfilled within just 24
months of assumption of office. Sequel to the level of disintegration, economic, security, and
infrastructural decay caused across the constituency and the State at large by the previous
administration. It's worthy to recall that, during the 2019 campaign tail for the membership seat of
Uba/Gaya Constituency, numerous promises were made across the six wards of the Constituency by the
Rt. Hon. Speaker and the Fresh Air administration to rehabilitate the decayed sectors across the
Constituency. Substantial among the promises made are:
- The revival of the educational sector via the renovation of schools, scholarships to support the less privileged, equipping schools with functional libraries and Computer centers to enhance online research and studies.
- Standardizing the health sector through the renovation of the decayed Prim, Health Care Centers, construction of new ones where needed, free deliveries to women across the constituency, and provision of ambulances to the PHCCs in the constituency.
- Provision of clean and accessible drinking water across the constituency.
